FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Will my photos be on the internet?

I don’t post anything on my website or social media without your signed permission. I take your privacy very seriously and photos are private by default until you sign my model release which we will go over at the end of your ordering appointent.

Can I bring a friend to my session?

Absolutely! One female friend or family member is welcome to attend your boudoir session with you as long as they remain out of the way once the session begins (and leave me in charge of directing poses and fixing hair.) In fact, if she enjoys observing your session and wants to book her own, we have an AMAZING referral program that will give her $100 off of her booking, and give YOU $100 to spend at your photo reveal and ordering appointment!

Can my husband/boyfriend come to my session?

Boyfriends and husbands that are present during your shoot actually change the overall mood of your session and may actually make you more nervous. We want you to be comfortable and relaxed so that it reflects in your photos. So this is a boyfriend/husband free zone! They are welcome to wait in the lobby during your session.

Do you provide outfits or do I bring my own?

While I do encourage my clients to bring their own outfits because it’s super important for you to feel good in the outfits you’re in, I do have a boudoir closet with options if we need to use them as back up or in addition to the ones you brought in. I do keep heels, stockings, and other accessories you are welcome to use as well.

How should I arrive to my session?

Come with clean dry hair, and a clean moisturized face (SPF free). Wear loose fitting clothes to avoid any marks left on the skin and keep your nails and toes neutral colored or black, white or red is totally ok.

Can I reschedule?

Yes! Your retainer is transferable to another date only 1 time. If you are unable to make the new date or forget about your appointment and want to reschedule again you must pay another retainer to hold your new date and time. Retainers are non refundable if cancelling your shoot.

When do I see my photos?

After your boudoir session we will schedule a date and time about 2 weeks after for you to come back to the studio to view and order your photographs in person. This is when you will also place your final order in full.

How long do you keep my photos?

I keep your photos 2 weeks after your ordering session and they are purged from hard drives after. I keep the photos you do purchase for about 2 years, however I encourage clients to purchase all that they love so you are able to archive them yourself.

What do most people buy?

Most people typically get an album and the digital files and usually go with a bundled collection that includes a little bit of everything. And there’s usually the set of photos that they just love and want to make wall art so they can hang it in a spot they see everyday like a bedroom or bathroom as a daily morale booster!

How long does it take to receive my wall prints/album?

Anything printed like albums and wall art and other products can take up to 3-6 weeks. So be sure to schedule ahead if you’re gifting your photos/album.

How do I receive/pick up my order?

When your items arrive, I’ll let you know and we can schedule a time for you to come pick them up at the studio. If you prefer to have your items shipped, that’s no problem but I do require a signature on delivery to ensure it gets to you.

How long should I plan to be in the studio the day of my shoot?

Plan for 4 hours. We start at 10:30am and we’re usually wrapped up by 1:30 or 2pm. We probably won’t need the full 4 hours but I don’t want you to feel rushed if you have any other appointments after your session.

Do you have any outfits and accessories I can wear?

I encourage you to bring your own outfits and accessories because I really want you to feel the most confident in what you pick out. I do have a closet in the studio full of options like lacey robes, white button shirts and other layernig pieces. Also black and nude heels in sizes 6-11.

I have tan lines, what should I do?

It depends on how severe they are. If they’re barely there, sort of faded, I wouldn’t worry too much. You can try lightly exfoliating leading up to your shoot. If they’re heavier, send my an email with some photos and we can figure a game plan. Your lingerie may cover up your existing tan lines. But to be on the safe side, please be mindful when you’re out in the sun and have a shoot coming up and lather on the SPF or cover ups if you don’t want tan lines showing.

Can I wear my hair extentions for my shoot?

Yes! Preferably if they are ok with heat styling. Bring them with you and the stylist can put them in when it comes to style your hair.

Do you travel to other places and shoot?

Yes! Most times past clients will want to do something different for their second, third or fourth shoot with me and we will travel somewhere within the US. The beach, the mountains, where ever!
